UPF, KNO condemn

KANGPOKPI, Apr 8: The United People’s Front and the Kuki National Organisation on Wednesday issued a strong and unequivocal condemnation of the bomb explosion at Tronglaobi that killed two children and left their mother critically injured. In a joint statement, the two organisations described the incident as “deeply disturbing and unacceptable,” expressing anguish over the loss of innocent lives in the April 7 blast. They extended their “sincere condolences” to the bereaved family and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured woman. Striking a cautionary note, the UPF and KNO also urged the media and public to exercise restraint, warning against attributing responsibility to any particular community without verified facts.
