IMPHAL, May 10 : SHADOW, Thangmeiband are into the semi-finals of the 3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 unbeaten as they crushed THAU, Thangmeiband by 9 wickets for the fourth straight Group B win today at THAU ground.
Opting to bat first, THAU faced immense opposition from SHADOW bowlers and slumped to 58 all out in 24 overs before SHADOW cruised to the target in 8.4 overs for the loss of 1 wicket.
Lanchenbi Usham 12 off 15 balls, was the lone double digit run getter for THAU today as Hanglem Malemnganbi (4/14) emerged as the pick of the SHADOW bowlers and Konthoujam Shinthoihenbi (2/11) and Sagatpam Henthoibi (2/11) claimed two wickets apiece.
In reply, Viviene Laishram 27 off 22 provided early stability before Shilheibi 24 not out off 24 balls and Hanglem Malemnganbi 3 not out off 7 balls finished off the chase.
Wangkhei Nganthoi returned with the bowling figures of 1/7 for THAU in this innings.
PTRC snap AKSDO’s three-game winning streak
Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, PTRC, Patsoi defeated AKSDO, Khangabok by 46 runs for their third successive wins and ended the latter’s team three game winning run in the Group A competition.
Opting to bat first, PTRC faltered and were dismissed for 125 runs despite Laitonjam Benita’s 44-ball 45 but the total proved too big to AKSDO as PTRC bowlers produced a more better bowling performance to bundle them out for 79 runs in 22 overs.
For AKSDO, Henthoisana Takhellambam (3/22) and Lucyrani Khundrakpam (2/26) led the bowling attack before Henthoisana 14 off 13 balls, Laishram Linthoi 11 off 27 balls and Aliya Yengkhom 10 off 25 balls made insignificant double digit scores in reply.
Laitonjam Linthoi (4/22 in 6 overs) and Laitonjam Silky (4/10 in 5 overs) of PTRC shared a bulk of 8 wickets to destabilise AKSDO chase as Laitonjam Benita claimed two (2/22 in 5 overs).
