Grenades planted

IMPHAL, May 12: Two hand grenades with a warning note were found at the residence of one Guruaribam Bhavananda of Brahmapur Guruaribam Leikai, Imphal East under Porompat police station this morning.
Family members of Bhavananda found a black plastic bag containing two hand grenades at their residence early this morning.
Soon, the family and people of the neighbourhood informed police regarding the hand grenades.
Later, a team from Porompat police station came and checked the bag.
In addition to two hand grenades, a warning note which read “Last warning, KCP PWG” was also found inside the plastic bag.
The police team safely picked up the hand grenades before registering a case, sources said.
