3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 PTRC flatten PCC by 193 runs for fourth straight win, qualify for semis

IMPHAL, May 12 : PTRC, Patsoi Part IV hammered PCC, Mayaikoibi by 193 runs for the fourth straight Group A win at Kongba Dhobi Lampak in the 3rd MNCA U15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 today.
The result also assured PTRC a place in the semi-finals with a match left to play.
Put in to bat first, Laitonjam Benita produced a masterful knock of 66-ball 111 not out laden with 17 fours to help PTRC raised 217/4 in the allotted 30 over before Lasihram Bigyapati and Laitonjam Benita combined well to wreak havoc across the PCC batting line up and dismissed them for 24 runs within 12.3 overs.
Laishram Bigyapati 26 off 16 balls and Laitonjam Linthoi 18 off 47 balls also made significant scores for PTRC in the first innings that saw Soubam Bidiya (1/30), Yumnam Sungsung (1/39) and Anuska Okram (1/45) claiming a wicket apiece for PCC.
In reply, none of the PCC batters managed double digit figures as Thokchom Dimple found the breakthrough in removing Y Sungsung on 8-ball duck before Laitonjam Benita picked three wickets (3/8 in 5 overs) to reduce their rivals to 12/4.
Laishram Bigyapati then enjoyed a fifer (5/3 in 3.3 overs)  including three wickets in the 7th over to set up the PCC collapse at 24.
Laitonjam Benita who shone with both the bat and ball was adjudged player of the match.
