Naga students moved to AR camp

IMPHAL, May 13: As tensions continue to rise in Manipur, 10 Naga nursing students studying in Churachandpur have been relocated to an Assam Rifles (AR) camp in the district.
These students are pursuing nursing courses at the College of Nursing, Churachandpur and the School of Nursing, Churachandpur.
They were shifted to the AR camp from their hostel by the district administration to ensure their safety.
It may be noted that Churachandpur has remained a sensitive area since the onset of the ongoing crisis in Manipur, which began on May 3, 2023.
