LNCM writes to PM, HM

IMPHAL, May 19 : The Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur (LNCM) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju seeking unconditional release of the Naga hostages and abrogation of Suspension of Operation (SoO) signed with Kuki militant groups.
In a memorandum, LNCM listed a series of demands such as immediate launch of intensive combing and search operations in the affected areas to rescue the Naga hostages, abrogation of SoO pact and strengthening of security arrangements in vulnerable Naga inhabited areas by deploying Central security force, strict enforcement of law among others.
