FORCE, SHADOW script mammoth wins in Sr Women’s One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, May 20 : FORCE, Kshetrigao crushed Al-Ameen, Lilong by 186 runs while SHADOW, Thangmeiband overwhelmed TCMDC, Thongju in today’s Group A and B matches of the 5th MNCA Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26.
At THAU ground, FORCE piled up a massive total of 214 runs for 2 wickets courtesy of half century knocks from Mehanaz (92 not out off 103 balls) and Sheikh Neha (60 not out off 58 balls) before they bowled out Al-Ameen for 28 runs in 13.4 overs riding on Wakila Shani (3/0 in 3 overs) and E Firdos (3/6 in 2.4 overs).
Konthoujam Shinthoihenbi (1/64) and Najiya Begum (1/32) managed a wicket apiece for Al-Ameen in the first innings before their batting department fell flat in reply.
Mehanaz who shone with the bat for FORCE was declared Player of the Match.
Elsewhere at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, SHADOW hammered TCMDC by 240 runs as Viviene Laishram and Loidangton  Thokchom scored centuries.
Loidangton scored a 102-ball 112 laden with 8 fours and 4 sixes as Viviene smashed a 95-ball 119 filled with 13 fours and 1 six to guide SHADOW to a commanding total of 301 runs for 2 wickets in the allotted 35 overs.
Ch Priyadasni picked both the wickets for TCMDC in this innings before they slumped to 61 all out in 22.3 overs as Ningthoisana 12 off 12 emerged the only double digit scorer for the team in the chase.
Wahengbam Priyabati led in dismantling TCMDC line up in this innings and returned with the best bowling figures of 4/13 in her spell of 6.3 overs while Chingkheileima claimed two wickets (2/1 in 3 overs). Priyanshee Hanglem and Sagatpam Henthoibi also managed a wicket apiece for SHADOW.
Viviene Laishram who led the SHADOW scoring was named Player of the match.
