Mukesh Singh takes charge as DGP

IMPHAL, Jun 1 : Former Ladakh top cop Mukesh Singh took charge as the Director General of Police, Manipur, today.
Upon his arrival at the Police Headquarters at Mantripukhri, he was accorded a guard of honour by Manipur Police.
Following the ceremonial reception, the DGP held a brief introductory meeting with senior police officers. He discussed key policing priorities and emphasised the importance of professionalism, upholding the Constitution of India and the rule of law, coordination with sister agencies, impartiality and neutrality in the discharge of duties to the public.
