65th CC Meet : Utlou FC beat NESU 2-0 to top Group C

IMPHAL, Jun 5 : Utlou FC emerged as the Group C winners in the 65th CC Meet as they thumped NESU, Khurai by 2-0 goals at Mapal Kangjeibung today.
Utlou FC, who played out a 2-2 draw with Juvenile Club in the previous league encounter, sealed the much needed win courtesy of Khaidem Amarjit (4’, 60’) who scored a goal apiece each side of the break.
Earlier in a Group H match, Yairipok FC handed Ziontlang Sincerity Youth Club (ZSYC) a 4-2 defeat to seal their first three points in two matches.
Konthoujam Bobosana led the scoring for Yairipok FC by netting twice (10’, 72’) including the opener as teammates Laishram Prosananda (14’) and Laishram Sailesh (48’) contributed a goal apiece.
For ZSYC, Thaokung Malchong (55’) and substitute MK Chongsu Chothe (75’) were on target.
