58 Dengue cases logged

IMPHAL, Jul 20: Manipur has reported a total of 58 Dengue cases so far this year, with Imphal East emerging as the worst-affected district.
According to the Directorate of Health Services, Imphal East has recorded 21 cases of the vector-borne disease since January 2026, followed by Imphal West with 15 cases, Bishnupur with nine, Thoubal with three, Kangpokpi with two, Tengnoupal with two, Kakching with two, Ukhrul with two and Chandel with one case.
One fresh Dengue case was reported from Thoubal district yesterday.
Notably, Manipur had reported 5,519 Dengue cases last year.
