Induction prog begins

IMPHAL, Jul 20 : A four-day induction programme for the new B.Ed 1st Semester batch 2026-2028 of the Ideal Teachers’ Training Academy (ITTA), Sajiwa commenced on Monday.
The inaugural session was graced by dignitaries, including T Shantikumar Singh, Controller of Examinations, Manipur University; Dr Y Ranjan Singh, Principal, ITTA; Khagokpam Kala Singh, president, Ideal Teacher People’s Society; Khagokpam Ronel Singh, chairman, Governing Body, ITTA; and Takhellambam Parijat Singh, assistant secretary, Ideal People’s Society.
Faculty members, 3rd semester students, and new entrants also attended.
At the event, Shantikumar Singh said the teaching profession is noble and plays a key role in building society.
He urged students to actively participate in all B.Ed activities to become responsible teachers for the future.
