Bunkers destroyed

IMPHAL, Jul 20 : Security forces destroyed two bunkers set up at Thawai Kuki Village and the surrounding area of Ukhrul district today.
From the site, two single barrel rifles, 10 live rounds of ammunition of different calibres, one pistol with a magazine and an ammunition pouch were recovered, said police in a bulletin.
Police, meanwhile, said that three cadres of KYKL were arrested from the vicinity of Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar no 50 under Chakpikarong police station in Chandel district, yesterday.
The arrestees have been identified as self styled Lance Corporal Heikrujam Builder (36) of Khongjom Tengol Leikai, self styled Lance Corporal Lanchenba Sharma alias Puremba alias Kongam (24) of Keibi Khullen Mayai Leikai and self styled Lance Corporal Khoirampam Raison alias Rangu alias Chaoba alias Jenith (34) of Awang Sekmai Leikai.
