MU urged to complete recruitment

IMPHAL, Jul 21: The Coordinating Committee on Disturbance Free Educational Zone Demand has urged the Manipur University authorities concerned to swiftly complete the pending recruitment of non-teaching staff.
The High Court of Manipur on June 19 had disposed of a case related to the pending recruitment. Following the verdict, the university should complete the pending recruitment of non-teaching staff without further delay, said the committee in a statement.
It said the Manipur University Teachers' Association (MUTA) and Deans' Committee or any other body shouldn't hinder the recruitment.
The Vice Chancellor of the university should complete the recruitment, ensuring a conducive environment for education inside the campus, it added.
