BDS students protest

IMPHAL, Dec 14: Four BDS interns of RIMS Dental Hospital, have warned to shut down the hospital’s OPD from Monday if RIMS authorities do not take up any initiative regarding their demand for stipend at par with their MBBS counterparts, within three days.

IMPHAL, Dec 11: A Division Bench of the High Court of Manipur today directed Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to submit the action taken report of the enquiry carried out by the three member committee constituted by the High Court on or before December 15 without fail.

IMPHAL, Sep 20: Bijay Prasad Sahu, former Legal Advisor/ Defense Counsel of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences today filed a case against the Union of India and others before the High Court of Manipur, for passing a stay order which terminted him from the post of RIMS Legal Advisor.
The complaint case was filed before the High Court of Manipur by Bijay Prasad Sahu of Mantripukhri, through his counsel.

RIMS plunges into a sea of woes

IMPHAL, Aug 12: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) which is fully funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India is now quite disoriented and it would have serious impacts on its health care services.

Non-Teaching Employees’ Welfare Association, RIMS has resolved to shut Administrative Block of the hospital from July 4 and launch cease work strike from July 6 if the pending two months’ salary for its employees, pensioners, contractual staff and daily wage employees is not released by July 3.
